I have submitted my Application and am waiting to find out more

The Queensland Solar Hot Water Program is underway with  more than 33,000 Queenslanders who registered their interest in the Program before July 1 2009 receiving Application Packs.  Installations are progressing following the announcement of the first supplier to the Queensland Solar Hot Water Program.

Queensland Solar Hot Water Program

What happens next?

Applicants who have submitted an application for the Program will receive a letter confirming receipt of their application by the Office of Clean Energy.

The Office of Clean Energy is also contacting applicants who haven't supplied sufficient information to determine eligibility for the Program and those who are ineligible for the Program.

Due to the large volume of applications and the time needed to process each application thoroughly, it may take some time before you receive a letter confirming your application status.

It is not necessary to contact the Program Call Centre to ask if your application has been received and if you are eligible for the Program. However, if you are anxious about your application, you can call the Program Hotline on 13 25 23 if you wish.

If am eligible, how long until my system is installed?

With the appointment of the first supplier to the Program, eligible participants will be matched to suppliers in their local areas. The Office of Clean Energy advises the rate of installations will increase as more suppliers are added to the Queensland Government's Standing Offer Arrangement and their capacity to do high volumes of quality installations increases.

This Program is one of the largest and most complex industry transformation projects of its kind and has already reached major milestones. Please be patient. The Office of Clean Energy appreciates your interest in this Program.
